Most sixteen year olds pick up a guitar and after a couple of months sell it for fags or whatever. Matt Wood stuck with it and has created a beautiful ambient acoustic EP

With reverb set to cathedral, Matt wood creates a warm haunting effect which works to create a haunting organic ambient sound to his acoustic guitar.

Matt Wood voice is perfect for this style, like a slightly raspy choir boy, it’s a contradiction of vulnerability and maturity.

Being so suited vocally to this style of music I can’t imagine he would break from it for a while, but I will be listening out for him, I’m looking forward to branching out from this – all be it effective – safe ground.
